Star Family Fun Day

(In memory of Star Baugher Bechtel)

Saturday, April 26^th  (10am-2pm)

 @ Park Hills Elementary

                          

A Free Gift for the first 300 children

Purpose:  To celebrate LIFE!  Come and enjoy a fun-filled day of games, door prizes, singing, dancing, storytelling, child ID cards, face painting, obstacle course and FOOD with your friends and family!  It is open to the public. All ages welcome.  There is no admission fee.  Everyone faces difficulties and challenges in their lives. This is a day to try to put all that aside and be happy for what you have NOW!!!

We will also be cutting hair to donate for

Locks of Love.

Congratulations to our West Manheim York County Elementary Choral Participants!

Congratulations to our West Manheim York County Elementary Choral Participants! The concert was fantastic! I was so very proud of the way the students represented West Manheim Elementary and the South Western School District today. Their behavior was top-notch, along with their musical performance. Mrs. Pollard, our guest conductor, is a personal friend of mine and she was very impressed with our musicians. I hope they all had a wonderful time. I have attached a picture of our great musicians. Also, both the York Daily Record and the Evening Sun were present today, taking pictures and writing an article. I was excited to see some of our West Manheim super stars in the pictures! Enjoy!

WM Students @ the 2014 York County Elementary Choral Festival

Congratulations to the West Manheim Elementary singers that will be participating in the 2014 York County Elementary Choral Festival on Saturday, March 22, 2014. Destin Seese, Ella Baker, Victoria Strausbaugh, Brooke Byers and Rachel Smith will travel to Spring Grove High School to join 250 singers from around York County in this fabulous festival. Best of luck!

SW Education Foundation presents "A Taste of the Arts"

The South Western Education Foundation will once again sponsor, "A Taste of the Arts" on Sunday, March 23 from 1:30-4:30. It is an exciting opportunity for the Fine Arts departments to showcase the amazing talents in the South Western School District! Art work in grades K-12 will be on display in addition to musical performances from grades 5-12. The West Manheim musicians (orchestra, band, Troubadours) will be performing from 3:45-4:15 in the high school gymnasium. The West Manheim artists will have work displayed all day long!
