The 2016 Christmas
Committee of Downtown Hanover announces the annual Santa Parade and Bike
Decorating Contest. The Holiday Parade is Friday, November 25, 2016, beginning
at 9:00 a.m. in Downtown Hanover. The bike decorating contest is for students 1st
grade through 6th grade. Those entering the bike contest and other parade
participants must use a Christmas theme on their bikes. We also invite family
groups to participate in the parade. A parent must accompany their children
participating in the parade. The parade forms at the Baer Avenue Playground at
8:00 a.m. All judging takes place beginning at 8:00 a.m. and ends at 8:30 a.m. Registration
forms for the parade are available by calling Janet Black at 717-637-1768. Deadline
for registering bikes is November 16, 2016. All participants in the parade must
be pre-registered.
