Message from the PTO

We have Kindergarten Registration on Wednesday, May 8th and Thursday, May 9th 8am to 4pm and then we have Grandparent's Day on Friday, May 10th.

K Registration volunteers needed:

One at the door to greet and apply name tag to Incoming K student
One to help Frannie Gobrecht at the check in desk
One to supervise student at the central "coloring table"
Three to escort students as they travel through the "screening" locations
People who volunteer do not have to volunteer for the entire day unless they want to! Small shifts are fine, as long as we have the coverage of 6 through out the two days.

Grandparent's Day volunteers needed:

4 at the start of each session - 8:15 AM, 10 AM, 12:45 PM
Three to help with sign in for those who arrive without their name label, help with looking up room numbers and directing traffic
One to run the elevator

If you are interested in volunteering, please email me at jlbenzing@comcast.net to let me know when you would be available.

Thanks so much!!

Boomer's Book Club

For those families choosing to participate in Boomer's Book Club sponsored by the York Revolution (Family letters and bookmarks were sent home last week during library class):

Hi Everyone,

Thanks very much for your participation in Boomer’s Book Club this season, as your efforts have helped us reach more students than ever before, with over 20,000 children participating in the program this year! I just wanted to send you a quick reminder that the first Boomer’s Book Club game date where students can redeem their tickets is this Sunday, April 21 at 2 p.m. Gates open at 1 p.m. that day.

If students can’t attend on Sunday, there are four other dates to choose from (Wednesday, May 8; Wednesday, June 5; Wednesday, June 19).

Tickets, discounted tickets for parents, and the other prizes can all be redeemed in-person at the Apple Chevrolet Ticket Office at the ballpark. Prizes can be redeemed the date of the game they choose to attend, or in advance to avoid potential lines that night. Our ticket office hours are Monday through Friday from 10 a.m. until 5 p.m., Saturday from 10 a.m. until 1 p.m., and on game days from 10 a.m. through the end of the 5th inning.

Thanks very much!
